Evacuate Protocol ( $p > 6000~\textrm{psi}$)

Evacuate protocol applies to pressures above 6000  psi and to destructive capacities greater than 27 cap feet. The region above and to the right of the yellow-shaded region in Fig. 2 indicates where this protocol applies. Within this protocol, the vessel may be operated only during off-hours (6 pm $\rightarrow$ 5 am) or days (eg., weekends or holidays) when evacuating the building is feasible.

Permission to run a pressure test which requires the evacuate protocol must be obtained from Enviromental Health & Safety prior to starting the test. In the event of a building emergency such as activation of the fire alarm or earthquake any test in progress must be stopped immediately. If feasible, open the pressure release valve and turn off warning lights before leaving the building.
